Anxiety disorder. What you need to know about it

Life is so fast paced that we can easily start feeling anxious and stressed. So I want to discuss anxiety disorder. What exactly is anxiety disorder? Anxiety is described as an overwhelming fear. It is excessive and is clearly a negative feeling. We all suffer from anxiety at some stage in life. But when exactly does it become anxiety disorder?

If it exceeds six months and causes overwhelming unhappiness or affects a person's life to be problematic. Those who suffer from anxiety tend to avoid certain situations or even fear situations as it is seen as very stressful.

Physical symptoms.

  • When someone has anxiety the symptoms can be described as follows
  • Blood pressure rising.
  • Heart start to beat faster
  • Breathing becomes faster
  • Tension in muscles
  • Feeling nauseous 


Behaviors of anxiety

  • Avoiding situations
  • Literally prepare too much for a situation
  • Being too restless
  • Keep checking if everything is done right over and over again
  • Focusing on the negative, worry concern or fear of embarrassment


It may seem to be just dealing with life, but to those who suffer from anxiety disorder it becomes completely disruptive. Dealing with thoughts that isnt rational, nightmares, dealing with panic attacks. Clearly it affects family life, as well as work life. But the sad thing is that only a third of those who suffer with anxiety disorder gets diagnosed and the proper treatment.

Despite the fact that anxiety disorder affects literally millions of people world wide (America alone has over 6.8 million who suffer from anxiety disorder) there is a stigma associated with it. So many don't get the help needed to recover. 

People with this disorder has a feeling of catastrophe is going to occur. Even when life is going well these people worry. They stay in a constant state of worry and tension. Panic attacks usually reach it's peak within ten minutes. It can suddenly develop. It can be triggered by something or can happen without any reason. So people suffering from anxiety disorder live in a constant fear of another panic attack. 

But for people suffering from anxiety the first thing to remember is there is help available. Please do not live like this. Seek professional help. Believe me. You are not alone in this troubling state of mind. You deserve to live your life fully and with joy. Not being paralyzed by fear. 

This happened in my own family. And I know it is disruptive and can destroy your happiness. So I am not just writing something, I know how devastating this can be. It took lots of care and patience and consideration. Today I can say that it is going better. For anyone that has someone in your close circle that deals with anxiety. Please be patient. It isnt a phase or emotion. Encourage and help the one suffering to get the help needed. 

Foods and drinks to avoid
Coffee is a BIG no, change to tea, green tea, or rooibos tea
As coffee is a stimulant
Same goes for chocolate, limit chocolate intake but dark chocolate in a small amount is beneficial
Sugar should be limited as it can cause a spike in glucose levels which can result in a panic attack

DIY egg white face mask that is age defying

I love DIY face masks. It has numerous benefits. Today I am sharing egg an white face mask that I personally use.
Why should you consider egg white for face masks? You may think no!!! But if you know how good it is you will do it without the slightest hesitation.

Reasons to consider egg white face masks
  • Protein Helps with tissue repair. Encourage wrinkle free skin.
  • Potassium. Helps to keep moisture in cells. Hydrates skin and moisturise.
  • Riboflavin. Remove toxins that that help create wrinkles.
  • Magnesium. Youthful skin. As well as stop the aging process. 

My personal favorite when I create a face mask is effective because of combining a few ingredients
It is a cleansing mask, gives a radiant glow that is visible and age defying because of the egg as well as other ingredients.

The thing about facial masks that I just love is if you know what is good for your skin you can improve or change a face mask.

The sky is the limit when you know what you are doing.

Age defying face mask
 Ingredients
1 Egg white
2 table spoons dry oats. (Good if you can ground it fine)
1 table spoon Yogurt
1 table spoon Honey
Few drops almond oil (sweet) can be added if you have dry skin or if you prefer it.

Method
Always start by cleansing your face. 
Then apply the mask. Leave on for 20 to 30 minutes.
Rinse off with luke warm water.
Apply moisturiser


And yes I love it, as it is my own personal mask that I make. Why these ingredients? You may wonder. 
The egg white was mentioned earlier, but also leaves a tightening effect on skin. Thus reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
Honey is known for its wonderful properties when it comes to beauty routine. It is age defying as it combats the signs of ageing. as well as treats problem areas on the skin.
Almond oil is rich in vitamin E. Moisturises and can even lighten dark skin.
Yogurt does lighten dark marks as well as cleanse and moisturise.
Oats has a wonderful cleansing effect on skin. Which leaves a glowing skin that looks younger after every use. 

The idea is soft smooth well nourished skin that is glowing and radiant. Improving the appearance and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. As I see how it effective it works I am sharing it.

Personally I have oily skin so I dare not do too much to my skin. Using the wrong moisturizer and i have what is called angry skin. Yes it is what I call it as it is just that. But the products you use should be soothing and improve skin. But even with oily skin it does not mean leave moisturising. No no. It means check what you use for your skin. Don't want skin break outs. But don't want skin that doesn't look like it's taken care of either. Where dry skin needs a little more TLC(Tender Loving Care)

Gout remedy that works.

If you are one of the many people who suffer from gout. Then this is just for you. Many suffer and have to use pain stillers. It affects your every day life. But what if you don't need a pain stiller and don't ever again suffer from gout. Gout is a form of arthritis, mostly known to those who suffer from it, or the loved ones of those who suffer from it.


Today you are reading one of the reasons I started my health site. I started a natural health site for the reasons that I wanted to know why things happen and how can I change the suffering of my loved ones. One of my family members suffers from this. Also I found that many don't know what can help and just have to watch loved ones deal with the most excruciating pain and feel helpless as I did. I felt I had enough. Like the person reading this right now, thinking who it will benefit.The best thing about this remedy is that it is anti inflammatory, safe, all natural and effective.

Ingredients.
1 Pineapple
Powdered turmeric, 1 or 2 teaspoons
Tart cherry juice, 1 cup
Fresh ginger, 1 inch
Or powdered ginger, 2 or 3 teaspoons
Honey
Strainer
Blender or food processor
Glass container that has a lid so that this mixture is sealed

Method
You can start by removing the stem of the pineapple and then remove the skin of the pineapple. Cut the pineapple into pieces. You can use a blender to cut the pineapple pieces into smaller pieces. Pour  the cherry juice into the blender. Add the turmeric and ginger. Blend again to make sure the mixture is mixed well

Pour the pineapple mixture in your preferred container and close the lid. Sealing it tightly.  Leaving the mixture in the fridge for 10 days. Very important that it must be left for 10 days to set in the fridge. As you start using the mixture you can add honey as your own desired need. Use a strainer to avoid all the pieces. Use this mixture daily.
