Skin care the natural way. Have you considered it yet and why you should start now.

If you switch the tv on you see so many adverts telling you this product is so right for you. If you care about how your skin looks, then you know exactly what I mean. But if you look and learn, you will find that nature as wonderful as it is. Gives so many different ways to look after your skin. The best part of it? No harsh chemicals involved. It is all natural with common ingredients that can be found in your kitchen. So let us check at a few of these items.


Raw honey.
The use of raw honey is so beneficial for your skin. I fights off bacteria and is filled with the goodness of antioxidants and enzymes that will help to lock in natural moisture in your skin.

Gently spread a small amount of the raw honey on your cleansed skin. Leave it for 10 to 20 minutes on your skin and wash off with lukewarm water.
For a face mask you can mix a teaspoon of ground cinnamon combined with 3 tablespoons raw honey. Apply on cleansed face leave it on for up to an hour. No longer. Rinse with lukewarm water. It is great especially for acne troubled skin.

Extra virgin olive oil
If you didnt know it already well it is good and beneficial for you. Inside and outwards. Thinking of olive oil for your face may seem strange but as it is  non-comedogenic your pores wont be affected badly. In fact olive oil has so many benefits that you may wonder why you haven't started using it yet. As it has antioxidants and vitamins A and E. Great to combat the signs of aging yet gentle on your skin. Also a great way to remove makeup.

Using a cotton wool soaked in olive oil. Gently apply over your face and eyes to effectively remove any make up. You may need to apply moisturizer afterwards. Depending on your skin type.

Baking soda.
Baking soda has the ability of whitening your smile. But at the same time it can remove dead skin cells. Can your acne also. 

Take 2 teaspoons of baking soda with 1 teaspoon water. Mix to make a paste. Apply on your face and use circular motions. Make sure your face is covered completely. Leave on your face to dry for 5 minutes. Now gently remove the dried paste using circular motions. Rinse your face with warm water.

But please note as some may have reactions on their skin when using baking soda. Best to test n your hand before applying on your face. Do this only once a week to avoid your skin going to dry. 

Sugar
It may be strange to see sugar listed as beneficial for your skin. But did you know sugar helps when skin is damaged by the sun or even aging skin? 
Mix half cup white or brown sugar with quarter cup olive or coconut oil. Now gently rub a tablespoon full of the sugar mix onto your skin. Great for the face feet and body. Rinse of with warm water. Use two times a week. Natural scrub for your skin

Raw coconut oil.
Have you ever considered switching from your moisturiser to this coconut oil? It is so good for your your skin, as it moisturises deeply, helps to strengthen skin tissue as well as remove dead skin cells

Why it is important to exercise and to start if you dont do it already.

I want to discuss something that is serious. You may have heard it so many times. Never thought seriously about it. After all if we hear something a lot we tend to forget why it is necessary.  Why do we need to exercise? Did you ever wonder why it is said so very often?


Allow me to give one example. Now many who go to the beach say once maybe twice a year may agree to this. Just walking on the sand everyday makes a difference than normal walking down the street. It is a simple example yet it is true. Your legs and thighs gets a workout even though you may think you are fit and well. So end result is more aches till you get used to it. That is how our bodies work. Exercise is needed to keep every part of our body fit and well. If we don't use our bodies correctly we lose that flexible fit body we strive for.

As our lives changed we became people who may not live as active as we should. How many hours do you move around staying active?  Did you know that your heart and your lungs doesnt work as it should. Your joints become stiff. You can get injured easier than someone that is fit and exercises regularly. It is a major health risk. 

Reasons to consider exercise
If you are worried about appearance, well exercise has great benefits to improve appearance. It delays the aging process. If you exercise you will find that you have more stamina. You wont get tired as the person who just started exercising. You will find that your body will become more toned and defined. You will feel more energetic but will look much better too. Well obviously you will find that you are more flexible as you work your muscles. Bending stretching and twisting while exercising means your body will become more relaxed. Then there is weight loss. Yes exercise is linked to weight loss as exercising burns calories faster. More calories is burned while exercising better weight loss will be. But that also means limiting calorie intake to be efficient. 

It may not be easy to start or to stay committed to exercising, but once you start you will find reasons why it is good to continue. Stress levels will improve, Your moods will be much better. Better sleep at night. You will feel and look younger. More energy than you used to have. Isnt that improving your lifestyle too? 

Now comes the question how often is considered adequate exercise? The most important thing to remember is being consistent. Too much exercise can put strain on your muscles while too little exercise can cause muscle turning losing it's toned appearance again. Yes it means loss of fit and lean muscles. Which is why you start exercising it is important to stay committed to it.  

There is exercises like cardio. Three times a week is safe and effective. For more experienced people there is aerobics. Exercises like jogging walking or even bicycling. It should not go for longer than an hour. 
When you are thinking of weight lifting you have to remember that your muscles will need enough time to recover from strenuous exercise. Three times a week is adequate.
Stretching is so important when exercising yet many forget about it. It helps with flexibility. This can be done three to four times a week. Warming up and cooling down should be part of any exercise routine. it is good to remember that 5 to 10 stretches is required to help your muscles. Hold every stretch at least for 10 seconds minimum.

So with that in mind. There is so many benefits to exercising but we will only find the answer ourselves when we start to exercise. So I hope this article makes you reconsider how healthy your lifestyle is.

Ways to get rid of toe nail fungus using natural home remedies safely and effectively

Did you know that about 800 million people has, had or have toe nail fungus? That it is difficult to remove or cure of you dont know what to do?  As it gets under the nail damaging it. It can occur on finger and toe nails. But is more common on toenails.  It affects both men and women.


The image shown is a mild case of toe nail fungus. You can go for laser treatment. But I want to share natural cost effective ways to get rid of toe nail fungus. Ways that is effective and safe but works.
Toe nail fungus thickens the nail, discoloring it. Also breaks and cracks the nails. It can be from mild to severe. But I am sharing safe natural home remedies that will get rid of toe nail fungus for good.

Apple cider vinegar
Take a cotton wool. Dip in apple cider vinegar. Put on the nail that is affected. Fasten it with tape. At night replace with fresh cotton that is soaked in apple cider vinegar.

Another way is simply relaxing with your feet soaked in apple cider vinegar. Or another if you don't have apple cider vinegar, although apple cider vinegar is preferred. Do not clean feet afterwards. Leave it to dry on it's own.

Listerine mixture
One bottle of Listerine mouth wash. 
10 ml tea tree essential oil
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Mix all ingredients together in a bottle
Pour a small amount in a small container
Apply on the toes using a toothbrush, making sure you rub it in 
Do this every day morning and night.
Always remember to clean the toothbrush after every use, as well as the small container.

Vicks Vaporub
As Vicks Vaporub has antifungal properties it is an effective treatment for toe nail fungus.
Simply apply on the affected nail or nails. 
Do this 3 times a day. 

Tea tree oil
Tea tree oil also has anti fungal and antibacterial properties. Apply it on the affected area using a Qtip. 
Repeat daily.

Salt
Allow me to add a remedy for toenail fungus that I know works. Just add a teaspoon of salt to lukewarm water and leave your feet to soak in it for at least 15 to 20 minutes.
 For the same reason walking along the beach in the ocean waves is just as effective and if you are lucky enough to be someone to live at the coast. Do this and see it clear up in within one week or two depending on how severe the fungus is. Salt itself is antibacterial. And antifungal.

Please note
Please note that if the nail has been damaged badly it may fall off and a new nail will appear in it's place. So if that happens don't stress about that. If you are diabetic please remember that it is not advised that your feet stay wet for too long.

Making DIY scented bath salts

Taking some time to just recover from a busy day is something many can only dream of. But what if you can have that while taking a bath? Most of us love taking that time to just relax and rejuvenate. If it isnt something that appeals to you. You can consider this a gift for someone else. 
It is a easy DIY bath salt recipe that. It is a safe at home bath salt recipe. 


Ingredients
1 cup sea salt
1 teaspoon avocado oil
10 drops of your preferred essential oil

Mix everything together and store in a bottle or a bag
Add to running bath water.
This mixture can be used 8 times.

Please note
Take note that not all essential oils should have direct contact with skin.

So if you are new and dont know much about essential oils
You should consider these oils as a safety precaution

Bergamot, Frankincense, Geranium, Lavender, Palmarosa,
Rose, and Rosewood.

Personally I add at least one drop of my favorite food colorant too. Just for colour.

2 tablespoons ginger powder/4 fresh ginger roots chopped. 
$ tablespoons dried juniper
2 tablespoons dried rosemary
4 tablespoons dried lemon peel/1 lemon quartered 

Mix and use when bathing. By adding to bath water.

Home made shampoo that is beneficial for your hair. Treatment for hairloss and dandruff

After the last post I have been thinking. How safe is the products we buy? More specific in our cleansing routine. Body wash, shampoo but more specific is there a safe natural way that can be used instead of buying products that we hope is safe to use.

So with that in mind I am starting with shampoo and yes there is countless natural ways that we know is safe. But at the same time it should be beneficial, as well as all natural for your hair. But just as important hair should look vibrant and be improved. 

Egg shampoo

Ingredients
Take one egg
One tablespoon olive oil
One teaspoon lemon juice
Half cup water or herbal tea
5 drops of your preferred essential oil

Method
Mix everything together and use as you would use a shampoo.
For best results heat up the mixture before applying (just warming up, not hot)

Green tea & Aloe Vera shampoo

Bowl of hot water
Add 4 green tea teabags (depending on length)
Leave the tea bags for ten minutes in the water
Aloe vera (preferably from a plant)
Mix everything together in a blender
Pour into a spray bottle
Apply to your hair
Afterwards do a 2 minute scalp massage to increase the benefits of the mixture
Leave on hair for 10 to 15 minutes
Rinse with water
Dry as normal

This mixture will leave your hair soft, shiny. May even help for dry scalp. Is ideal if you have hair fall troubles or dandruff

This can be considered a hair treatment too. If you don't like the idea of leaving shampoo completely. But I do believe that what ever products we use. It should be off benefit to us. Best of all it is a natural way of taking care of your hair.

Johnson & Johnson admits that their baby products does contain cancer causing chemicals

We used to believe that the most popular products is considered safe for our families. But times have changed and we hear more and more about the fact that safety and care wasn't important to many big companies. Which is why this is a natural health site. But that isnt what this article is about. 


Again the world was shocked with the news of Johnson & Johnson is finally admitting their products arent as safe as we would like to believe. How many of us know it is in our homes right now. I personally would think that what ever we use in our daily beauty routine is safe. Or even our cleansing routine. But found it isnt true anymore. So with that in mind. I am writing this article


If you are a mother with a young baby. Your precious gem. Chances are you use products that you feel is safe for your baby. Then words like gentle careful caring would be on your mind. But the fact is not all products are safe. If you use Johnson & Johnson you would think it is safe to use, right? Wrong 
Johnson & Johnson finally admitted that their product contains cancer causing chemicals.


Formaldehyde
So what are they adding that is so dangerous? Ever heard of Formaldehyde. Or more specific quaternium-15, as it releases formaldehyde. It is used for burials and embalming the person who passed away. 
It causes skin, eye irritation and can cause respiratory irritation too. It has already been linked to Leukemia. This harmful ingredient can be found in the shampoo you use for you for baby. 

1,4-dioxane
Another harmful cancer causing ingredient is 1,4-dioxane. It causes health issues such as drowsiness, skin irritation, headaches and can even cause liver damage.
It is also known as a brain toxin that can damage the central nervous system and kidneys.
South Africa, Sweden and Japan is named to be a few of the countries that is said to already have the harmful ingredients removed from the products. It is still promised that it will be removed in the US. If it has happened already isnt known at this time.

It would be safest to find safer alternatives. So for best care take the time to know exactly what you use when using baby products. Also consider reading the labels to know exactly what is right for your family and more specific your baby. Educate yourself and keep your family safe.

Fast efficient way to dry freshly painted nails at home

Some times we do our nails and it looks lovely.
 But there isnt always time to let nails dry on it's own time
 What do we do then?


There is quick dry nail polish for that
But what if you don't have that?

You can put your nails in ice cold water that has a few ice cubes to keep the water ice cold
But this article is about DIY method that will dry your nails quickly at home
All you need is a can of cooking spray 
Yes you did read that correctly
Cooking spray is exactly what you need to dry your nails quickly
And it works perfectly and efficiently


Method

After applying your nail polish spray with a can of cooking spray over your nails
Making sure it is a few inches away from your nails

Leave it on for a few minutes before washing the oil off
And voila
You are done

Best milk cleansers for your face DIY

Considering using milk as part of your cleansing treatment may not be something you used too. But did you know that milk not only is effective as it cleanses deeply but it also removes dead skin cells. Which gives a rejuvenated glowing skin. Ideal if you consider it is a DIY inexpensive cleanser. So you know exactly what is added. Nothing harmful to your skin. 


 Rose water and milk
Milk with a few drops of rose water. 

Lemon juice and milk
Two tablespoons milk with half teaspoon lemon juice. 

Papaya and milk
One teaspoon papaya and two tablespoons milk

Honey and milk
Two tablespoons milk and half teaspoon honey

Cucumber and milk
One tablespoon cucumber peeled and two table spoons milk

Method
Mix well and apply on face and neck. Massage for 2 or 3 minutes using circular motions. Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water

Please note
Always remember to first wash your face with your favorite cleanser or beauty soap. Pat dry with a soft towel before applying cleanser.
For oily skin fat free milk is best
Do remember that your skin will be more sensitive to harmful UV rays. So applying a sunscreen is good.
Do this twice weekly to see the benefits

Anxiety disorder. What you need to know about it

Life is so fast paced that we can easily start feeling anxious and stressed. So I want to discuss anxiety disorder. What exactly is anxiety disorder? Anxiety is described as an overwhelming fear. It is excessive and is clearly a negative feeling. We all suffer from anxiety at some stage in life. But when exactly does it become anxiety disorder?

If it exceeds six months and causes overwhelming unhappiness or affects a person's life to be problematic. Those who suffer from anxiety tend to avoid certain situations or even fear situations as it is seen as very stressful.

Physical symptoms.

  • When someone has anxiety the symptoms can be described as follows
  • Blood pressure rising.
  • Heart start to beat faster
  • Breathing becomes faster
  • Tension in muscles
  • Feeling nauseous 


Behaviors of anxiety

  • Avoiding situations
  • Literally prepare too much for a situation
  • Being too restless
  • Keep checking if everything is done right over and over again
  • Focusing on the negative, worry concern or fear of embarrassment


It may seem to be just dealing with life, but to those who suffer from anxiety disorder it becomes completely disruptive. Dealing with thoughts that isnt rational, nightmares, dealing with panic attacks. Clearly it affects family life, as well as work life. But the sad thing is that only a third of those who suffer with anxiety disorder gets diagnosed and the proper treatment.

Despite the fact that anxiety disorder affects literally millions of people world wide (America alone has over 6.8 million who suffer from anxiety disorder) there is a stigma associated with it. So many don't get the help needed to recover. 

People with this disorder has a feeling of catastrophe is going to occur. Even when life is going well these people worry. They stay in a constant state of worry and tension. Panic attacks usually reach it's peak within ten minutes. It can suddenly develop. It can be triggered by something or can happen without any reason. So people suffering from anxiety disorder live in a constant fear of another panic attack. 

But for people suffering from anxiety the first thing to remember is there is help available. Please do not live like this. Seek professional help. Believe me. You are not alone in this troubling state of mind. You deserve to live your life fully and with joy. Not being paralyzed by fear. 

This happened in my own family. And I know it is disruptive and can destroy your happiness. So I am not just writing something, I know how devastating this can be. It took lots of care and patience and consideration. Today I can say that it is going better. For anyone that has someone in your close circle that deals with anxiety. Please be patient. It isnt a phase or emotion. Encourage and help the one suffering to get the help needed. 

Foods and drinks to avoid
Coffee is a BIG no, change to tea, green tea, or rooibos tea
As coffee is a stimulant
Same goes for chocolate, limit chocolate intake but dark chocolate in a small amount is beneficial
Sugar should be limited as it can cause a spike in glucose levels which can result in a panic attack

Heart health changes that should be implemented daily

Today I am going to write about something that is very serious. And it affects everyone if it is ignored. Your heart. I am not thinking of your feelings or your love for someone. But about heart health. It does affect everyone especially if we don't choose a healthy lifestyle.


So what would be considered a heart healthy lifestyle then? You know the basics probably. Eat right, be active by exercising and consider a more stress free lifestyle. But when we talk of eating right. What exactly does that imply? The do's and the don'ts. Everyone has an opinion of what is right. Eat this don't eat that. 

First thing you have to acknowledge if you are not eating for the benefit of your heart, that there is a huge change needed. By taking these steps you should find the benefit of a heart healthy lifestyle. If you don't do that today it will affect your health later on.

Portion size.
The amount of food you eat is just as serious as what you out in your mouth. By overeating you end up with more calories than you should probably be consuming.  So for best advice it is wise to use a small plate when you want to control your portions. Eat more low calorie foods that is full of nutrients and less foods that is full of high calories and foods that is high in sodium. Fast foods are very guilty of this. Just by following this you should see a change in your waist as well as your heart health.

Fruits and vegetables.
These foods are full of good nutrients and is a great source of vitamins and minerals. Also god to consider because it doesn't have too much calories and is a source of dietary fibre. Some fruits and vegetables can actually help to prevent cardiovascular disease. Also if you consider more fruits and vegetables you will find that you eat less foods such as meat unhealthy snacks and cheese.

Whole grains.
How important would you think whole grain is for heart health? Answer very important as it plays a major role in regulating your blood pressure which in turn helps to improve heart health. Just by changing the whole grains by leaving the refined products. Consider whole wheat, whole grain and high fibre products. 

Fats
It is very important to limit unhealthy fats. So what is considered unhealthy fats? Saturated fats and trans fatty acids. To help control cholesterol and to lower your chance of developing coronary heart disease it is important to remember this. If your cholesterol levels are high it starts to build up in your arteries and you can have a stroke or a heart attack as a result.  So how do you limit these bad fats? By limiting your intake of butter margarine or shortening. Even when cooking it is important to limit these fats.  By trimming fat or even better choose lean meats. Also good to check the fat content on snacks as many of these snacks like chips cookies and crackers contents fatty acids. Even when it says reduced fats. The word to look for is hydrogenated fat or even partially hydrogenated.
The safer options is called monounsaturated fats. Like Canola oil or Olive oil.
Then there is polyunsaturated fats which can actually help to lower your cholesterol levels. Certain types of fish, nuts seeds and avocados is considered heart health choices. But even here it is important to remember to limit these fats too as all fats are full of calories. A wise choice would be to add flaxseed as it is high in fibre and rich in omega three fatty acids. This does help to lower cholesterol levels  

Low fat protein
Low fat dairy, eggs, lean meat, poultry and fish are considered the best protein sources. But again it is suggested that you must consider exactly what you eat. Skim milk vs. full cream milk. Skinless chicken vs. fried chicken. Always go for the option that contains less fat.
Fish that is good to consider as it is high in omega 3 fatty acids is salmon, mackerel, and herring.
As mentioned before flaxseeds is great but also a good source of protein. Then there is walnuts, soybeans and canola oil. Beans peas and lentils is a wonderful choice as it has no cholesterol and less fat.  

Sodium
Sodium also known as salt increases your chance of developing high blood pressure which in turn can become a high risk for cardiovascular disease. You can consider salt substitutes. If you eat processed foods you have to realize that the processed foods are high in salt. If you prefer easier and convenience foods check for sodium reduced.  

These changes can make a huge difference. We live in a world of convenience. And we don't take note of how good it is for our heart. I really hope this article will help to change peoples lives for the better.

During the time this article was written one of my relatives went for heart 
bypass surgery. No doubt that it is a major heart operation. The risk involved is huge. That was the reason behind this post and yes, if it means one person can be saved the trauma and tension that an unhealthy lifestyle causes. Then this article was still worth it. 
My uncle thankfully is recovering well.

Depression What you should know about it

Today I want to talk about something that is serious. It does affect many people.  Yes many people fall victim to it. You or someone you know may suffer from it. Depression. So let us start with what exactly is depression? For those suffering from it is awful. Hopelessness helplessness, lost interest in everything  like your favorite hobbies or activities. As a result you can start losing weight, sleeping patterns change. Cant concentrate and the sufferer may be thinking of death or suicide a lot. Yes that is how serious it is. Do remember these are just a few symptoms of depression.


It is normal in life to have sadness when you lose someone or you went through a setback or a series of setbacks. But these are relatively short term feelings while on the other side depression is long term. Depression does have a great impact on you. Yes it does affect life in disturbing way

Feelings of sadness can be normal, appropriate and even necessary during life's setbacks or losses. Or you may feel blue or unhappy for short periods without reason or warning, which is also normal and ordinary to deal with. But if feelings like these persist or impair your daily life, you may have a depressive disorder. Severity, duration and the presence of other symptoms are factors that distinguish ordinary sadness from a depressive disorder.

Depression can affect your body and mind.  Certain illnesses may contribute to depression. Diabetes, stroke or a heart attack. Other factors that may contribute to depression is pain that is left untreated and is left untreated. To name a few. But according to research if you suffer from depression you may develop health issues like osteoporosis or coronary heart disease.  

But with all this, there is good news. It can be treated and should be treated. Yes many who suffered from it. Have fully recovered. Unfortunately there is still a stigma associated with depression. For reasons unknown to me as there is so many suffering from it. Battling alone. But the truth is anyone can suffer from depression. There is no preference in age race and more. So if you are someone you know and love suffers from depression. Remember it is treatable and it is a very serious disorder to have. It deserves to be treated so that your life can be lived fully.  

Treatment
If depression is left untreated it is devastating. The sad thing is most who suffer from depression doesn't look for help. As one of the symptoms is helplessness they believe nothing can help them overcome this condition. Or worse they feel guilty. 
When it is treated properly and correctly. It can be very beneficial as life becomes productive again. It is a wise choice to reach out and look for proper help as depression interferes with daily life. Work relationships and family relationships suffer. It is very important to know if it is mild depression or severe depression. 
Please see a health professional to see what treatment is correct for you. There is certain types of medication. Counselling may be an another option to help you recover. But remember that honesty is the key factor to recover fully.

Ask yourself
How do you know when you suffer from depression? Ask yourself these questions and answer honestly. 

  • Do you feel your life is affected? Does it interfere with work, health, relationships and your personal life?
  • Do you feel more unhappy than usual? What about less confident? You don't feel like you are in control of yourself anymore? For longer periods of time like a few weeks or more?
  • Have those who are close to you told you about changes in your personality or behavior? Your close friends family and those you trust will notice these changes.
  • Did you try to deal with it or cope with these feelings but failed? Despite your best efforts you couldn't change or improve the situation?
  • Does every day troubles and problems feel like it is a huge struggle for you. More than usually would? 
  • Last but very important. Do you have thoughts about suicide? 

If you answered yes to any of these questions. Please see a health care professional. Be open and honest. It can be managed. It is treatable. Do not suffer and battle through it alone.

Depression does affect your health your happiness and your joy. It is wise to seek help. There is no shame in suffering from depression. No one should suffer in silence.

The ideal face mask for wrinkles and have great looking skin that is glowing

I recently started drinking grape fruit juice. It is 100% pure juice as I am lucky that I have a tree that is at this moment fully stocked. So if you want to know about the benefits of grapefruit. Allow me to answer this question for you. It does have numerous benefits that shouldn't be ignored.



According to studies done it is very healthy. It can decrease your chances of getting diabetes heart diseases and obesity. It can even improve your complexion. Your energy levels will increase and if you want to lose weight this is a healthy alternative  to help with weight loss.

Despite all the hype about it being the wonderful addition in weight loss. It isnt as much about the fact that you will lose weight. It is just the boost needed though. So please best to leave it out of your diet!

Upper lip hair removal that is permanent and effective

  • Best advice is to use this method twice a week. You will see improvements within a month.
  • Hair growth will be reduced greatly. 

As mentioned before egg whites is wonderful for skin. But it is also a wonderful way to get rid of upper lip hair.

Fruit infused water that boosts your immune system

If it is hot and many of us don't like water. And on extremely hot days coffee isnt desires. So with that in mind what can be done when you don't want fizzy drinks. But  that isn't really healthy. What if we can have a fresh cool drink that is beneficial to our health? 
Interested to know more about it? I know I am.

Most of us know how important our immune system is. When we feel a cold is showing itself. Most of us try to take extra care to deal with that cold fast.  Extra precautions. So considered this healthy drink. Not only is it delicious. But it gives a much needed boost to your immune system.


Immune booster drink

Ingredients

Three quarts of water
1 cup of strawberries (chopped)
2 oranges (peeled)
1 cup of pineapple (cubed)

Method
Combine all the ingredients to the water in a pitcher. Chill for two hours. Drink as preferred with ice, or without.

This drink isnt only delicious but very healthy too. 
Especially when seasons start to change.

Soothing bath time with anti sadness bath oil home remedy

Bath time isnt always just about relaxing. It helps to elevate your mood. Get you ready for the day. Waking you from the night's rest. Or gets you relaxed for the night. But with the use of the right essential oils you can improve your mood also.

So with that in mind I am sharing a bath oil mixture that is soothing calming and relaxing. Especially in times of tension or high stress. It can be used to sooth your mood if you are upset or depressed. Or if you know of someone that is struggling with such moods. Try and see how it helps.


Anti sadness bath oil 
1 ounce Sweet Almond oil
10 drops Marjoram essential oil
5 drops Clary Sage essential oil
5 drops Hyssop essential oil
5 drops Rosemary essential oil
1drop lemon essential oil
Mix everything in a bottle or small container
Add to running bath water as needed. 

This is especially effective for people dealing with sadness and sorrow. So when you know of someone who is coping with troubling and sad times you can give it to them. Or better if it is someone you really care about you can get the bath ready and pour it in. It should help to elevate the mood of the person. 

But with essential oils it is important to follow the instructions as always.
When using it correctly it is beneficial. 
When used incorrectly it doesn't work as intended. Please keep that in mind.
