Rice water facial cream for wrinkles. Also good for body and hands.

 Have you ever looked at the Korean ladies? Their skin is flawless even when they are considered older. You may wonder why is that. One of their many secrets is the way they use rice. Yes you can consider it a food. But it is also considered part of their beauty routine.
And not just a part but a major part of their beauty routine. 
Why can rice be added to your beauty routine? Well if you read previous articles on this site about rice you will know it has lots of vitamins and minerals. But it also helps to lighten skin. Can be considered a skin tightener and gives that flawless glass skin appearance. So its a win all the way.



You will need 4 ingredients.

2 Tablespoons Petroleum jelly. (I use Vaseline)
2 Tablespoons baby oil. (I used Johnson & Johnson)  
3 Tablespoons rice
1 Cup water

Instructions for the rice water.

Fermenting the rice.
Put the rice and water into a container overnight. 
Very important for the fermenting process. 
The next day you can continue this home made cream.
Rest of the process.
Place the water combined with rice in a pot. Put on stove on medium to lower heat. Stir frequently. When it has evaporated most of the liquid. Remove it from the stove. Place in cool water and add the baby oil and the petroleum jelly. Pour it into a container. This cream can be used for about a month. 
It can be used for the face, neck, hands and body. You will see the results and benefits within a short time.

How to keep your immune system working perfectly

I as so many others realized how vital it is to have a great functioning immune system. We may take our body's immune system for granted but when it is in a weakened condition we all wish we did something to improve. As this site is about natural health I thought it is good to be reminded what we can do to improve our immune systems. Our immune system is the difference between a healthy life and feeling extremely sick. Coping with aches we don't want. So let's see and remind ourselves what we can do to make sure our immunity is ready to fight any infections. Consider this post a check list to see where we can improve if needed. So let's see where we can improve. Following these steps may just help to keep your immune system in perfect health.


Get adequate rest. 
That means at least six to eight hours every night.

Don't forget to add fruits and vegetables to your diet as it contains vital nutrients for healthy living.

Try to maintain a healthy weight.

Alcohol in moderation is fine. But please don't over it.

It is suggested if you smoke it is wise to stop.

Find healthy and alternative ways to cope with the tension and stress life throws at you. If you are very stressful your body's immunity is affected and puts you at risk of getting sick.

Stay hydrated. Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water daily as it flushes the toxins out of the body. 
 
Consider foods that is rich in vitamin C.

 Kalonji seeds, also known as black cumin seeds, black seeds or Nigella sativa comes from a flowering plant from southern parts of Europe, North Africa and South West Asia. But why am I mentioning this on a natural health site. This small but very potent seed is used in natural medicine and may just be one of natures best kept secrets. Have doubts? Allow me to explain why and how it is good for natural health.

Taking too many may cause constipation. So please be mindful of that. Remember the golden rule too much of something may turn into a disaster. So please do not overdo it. If you are suffering from diabetes take note it can affect your blood glucose levels so it is considered wise to start with only one seed if needed. The same apply to people that suffer from high blood pressure as it is known that Kalonji seeds may affect blood pressure levels. So please don't start with five seeds. Start with one and after a week you can up the dosage to 2 and continue with that or as time progress you can later increase if needed. And please keep track of your condition.

How to use
Now there is a few ways to use kalonji seeds. But allow me to start by saying that kalonji seeds become much more effective when combined with honey and lemon juice. But then some consider garlic combined with Kalonji seeds just as effective when combined.
For me personally it is part of my daily routine. Every morning I pour boiling hot water in a cup. Add the seeds, teaspoon honey and tablespoon lemon juice. But that is what I personally prefer.
Alternatively you can take seeds, pour very small amount (just enough to cover the seeds) lemon juice over it. Place in a warm space with direct sunlight. Leave till all the liquid is absorbed (next day) and drink it. 
Then as many will be able to confirm it can be used in cooking.
Or take kalonji seeds. Follow that up with a small amount of honey. But it is advised to do this on an empty stomach in the morning at least half an hour before coffee tea or breakfast.
