Some will swear by this. If you apply garlic onto your nails and massage it. It will bcome stronger and look healthy.It will also help your nails to grow.

Supplements

You can also look in some shops and centres there is usually supplements that is meant for hair and nail. As it has the needed ingredients you can consider it. Plus it gives your hair much needed nutrients as well.

Creating nail art with scotch tape

Scotch tape

Instructions

Start by applying the base coat.

Leave it to dry completely.

Cut the desired shapes with the scotch tape and put on nails to create the desired form.

Remember cover what you want showing. 

Apply your colour nail polish

Leave it to dry

Now you can add the scotch tape again to do the same thing.

Apply another colour nail polish.

Repeat this until you have the desired result

You can end it off by applying a clear coat nail polish if you prefer

Haven't done any nail art in a while. So here is another idea if you want to try it and you just starting. If you love the idea of nail art. But you just cant seem to find your way around the diy department. Then this tutorial may just be for you. Easy and beautiful. But most. You did this yourself.

Base coat nail polish

Red nail polish (or your prefered colour) as well as a lighter shade

Instructions

Start with applying your base coat.

Now using a bobby pin make the red circles.

Remember to add some green as seen on the image. (Around the red circles to represent the leaves.)

Now by adding some white on the flower image

Now you should have a complete image.

You can end it off by adding some clear nail polish. 

But good to refer to the image as seen and you will have lovely easy flower nail art.

Bow tie and polka dots nail art

I haven't posted any nail art in a while. So today I am sharing an easy nail art projects for beginners.  We know hands gets noticed and when you know your hands look good.

 For hands that looks beautiful and well and hydrated you can look here at safe home remedies that is effective. It does make a difference.

You wont notice it. But others surely will. So allow me to share this easy tutorial for nails.

What you will need.

Three colors nail polish. (Used here was light pink and white and last clear coat.)

Dotting tool or toothpick

Bow tie sticker accessory 

Method

To start you can use a nude colour base coat or a very light pink colour. (Pink was used here)

Now apply polka dots as seen on the image with a tooth pick or a dotting tool. (Here white is used)

Leave the finger you want to apply the bowtie on.  

Apply the bowtie sticker. 

You can stick it with a glue gun to make sure it stay in place. 

Leave it to dry. 

Now apply a clear coat nail polish.

This is easy and looks so sweet. Bows are considered fashionable now. So why not make sure your nails can join in the fun too. This is a beginner friendly nail art project.

Step by step instructions to create your own dotted flower nail art design

I haven't done any nail art tutorials in a while. So I do think it is about time. Ladies, this one is for you. We always think doing nail art designs must be difficult. But it is so wrong. Starting of with a easy nail art idea is always good. So this post is for the ladies who isnt afraid to try something new. 

It is a sure fact that hands always gets noticed. So why not try something different and see if it is what you can do.

The possibilities are endless when experimienting with nail art.So with that in mind I am sharing another great idea. If you ever thought making flowers on nails is difficult. With this tutorial you will be amazed at the result. 

Items needed.

Dotting tool. 

Or if you don't have that you can use a toothpick. 

Striping brush.

You will also need 3 colours of your preferred nail polish. 

Here hot pink, white and silver nail polish was used.

Method.

To create the flower start of making 5 dots in circular motion. Create a second set of dots. Now pull the polish gently to the centre to change the dots to petals.  

Two thin stripes were created with the base nail colour.

Then small dots were added around the flowers and along the stripes in the same colour as the flowers. 

Last a stripe was added  below top stripe and a dot was added in middle of each flower using third colour. Please refer to the picture as it shows the steps one by one. It makes it easier.

Step by step instructions.

• 1.Start by applying your complete nail the color you prefer. Here hot pink was used.
• 2. Now take the second nail polish and create dots with the second nail polish colour. Remember this will be the flowers.) 
• Must be in a circular motion.
• 3. Now you create a second set of set of dots in a circular motion. 
• 4. Leave it for 45 seconds. Use the toothpick and from the centre of each dot pull to the centre of the circle. By doing this you create the flower.
• 5. Using a striper brush you can now take the first color polish (hot pink) and create two small thin lines. 
• 6 Now with the toothpick you create small dots along the side of the thin lines (white was used here again). But remember must be same colour as the flowers. 
• 7. Create small dots on both sides of the flowers. (Again white was used here) As seen on the image.
• 8. Here silver nail polish was used to create the last stripe. Create the stripe underneath the top thin stripe you made. As well as the middle of the dotted circles. So this will be the third colour.

I have to admit I absolutely love this design. You dont have to use the colors used here. But it gives a great idea how it would look using these colors. I hope you find this article helpful and that you are inspired to create your own design on your nails. Or for someone else.

Ways to get rid of toe nail fungus using natural home remedies safely and effectively

Did you know that about 800 million people has, had or have toe nail fungus? That it is difficult to remove or cure of you dont know what to do?  As it gets under the nail damaging it. It can occur on finger and toe nails. But is more common on toenails.  It affects both men and women.

The image shown is a mild case of toe nail fungus. You can go for laser treatment. But I want to share natural cost effective ways to get rid of toe nail fungus. Ways that is effective and safe but works.

Toe nail fungus thickens the nail, discoloring it. Also breaks and cracks the nails. It can be from mild to severe. But I am sharing safe natural home remedies that will get rid of toe nail fungus for good.

Apple cider vinegar

Take a cotton wool. Dip in apple cider vinegar. Put on the nail that is affected. Fasten it with tape. At night replace with fresh cotton that is soaked in apple cider vinegar.

Another way is simply relaxing with your feet soaked in apple cider vinegar. Or another if you don't have apple cider vinegar, although apple cider vinegar is preferred. Do not clean feet afterwards. Leave it to dry on it's own.

Listerine mixture

One bottle of Listerine mouth wash. 

10 ml tea tree essential oil

1 teaspoon olive oil

1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

Mix all ingredients together in a bottle

Pour a small amount in a small container

Apply on the toes using a toothbrush, making sure you rub it in 

Do this every day morning and night.

Always remember to clean the toothbrush after every use, as well as the small container.

Vicks Vaporub

As Vicks Vaporub has antifungal properties it is an effective treatment for toe nail fungus.

Simply apply on the affected nail or nails. 

Do this 3 times a day. 

Tea tree oil

Tea tree oil also has anti fungal and antibacterial properties. Apply it on the affected area using a Qtip. 

Repeat daily.

Salt

Allow me to add a remedy for toenail fungus that I know works. Just add a teaspoon of salt to lukewarm water and leave your feet to soak in it for at least 15 to 20 minutes.

 For the same reason walking along the beach in the ocean waves is just as effective and if you are lucky enough to be someone to live at the coast. Do this and see it clear up in within one week or two depending on how severe the fungus is. Salt itself is antibacterial. And antifungal.

Please note

Please note that if the nail has been damaged badly it may fall off and a new nail will appear in it's place. So if that happens don't stress about that. If you are diabetic please remember that it is not advised that your feet stay wet for too long.

Pampering your hands to stay soft and hydrated

As most women will know, age does show in hands too. 

As you use your hands to show gestures and for so many other things they get noticed a lot.

Many take care of their face and neck.

But hands are sadly forgotten

So it is vital to take care of our hands. 

Consider a hand massage.

Shake your hands to help them to loosen them up. 

Pour a few drops of olive oil on your left palm. 

With small circular movements start to move your right thumb over your palm and each finger too. After turning your hand over. Repeat this process.  

Also remember to move your thumb up and down each finger too. 

Repeat with the other hand.

The olive oil that is used on hands, will help to hydrate deeply, also helping to keep your hands supple and smooth.

When cleaning remember  cleaning gloves.
Always apply a little moisturizer before wearing gloves.
It avoids your skin going dry as well as can be considered a treatment for your hands
