Did you ever hear about the Daniel diet Others would call it the Daniel fast. It comes from the Bible. Daniel and his friends asked to eat fruits and vegetables along with water. You can read about it in Daniel Chapter 1. Where Daniel and his friends asked to eat fruits and vegetables as a test for 10 days. The result was that Daniel and his three friends were healthier looking than the others. But why should you consider the Daniel Diet? Well here is a few reasons

This diet is all about removing the unhealthy foods. That means no junk food, no fast foods, no processed foods, no artificial chemicals that means no artificial sweeteners. No artificial colorants. No artificial flavors. No artificial preservatives. No sugar. No to white flour also. No foods that has too much salt. No meats, that includes fish beef and poultry. No dairy products. Canned foods that doesnt have no sugars or preservatives can be added. Do remember the Daniel diet is about no meats too.  But as you are restricted from eating meat during this time it means you must find your proteins elsewhere. So it is good to think about adding beans nuts and seeds to your diet.Which is why I suggest vegan recipe ideas for a 21 day weight loss plan. Dont stick to one certain fruit or vegetable. It is about eating different fruits and vegetables as it has so many different nutrients. 

What you can drink 
Only fluids that you can drink is water. Yes it means no coffee tea, even herbal teas. Just pure water is approved. It also means no sodas or juice. Even if it says 100 pure juice. Not surprising if you consider the benefits of water. You can read about the benefits of water here. 

Always check your labels as the idea is cleansing your body of toxins. So do take the time to read and check if there is preservatives or sugar added. This has shown to be a healthy and successful change for weight loss. As well as improving overall wellbeing. But no doubts it will take will power and commitment to staying focused.
