Skin care the natural way. Have you considered it yet and why you should start now.

If you switch the tv on you see so many adverts telling you this product is so right for you. If you care about how your skin looks, then you know exactly what I mean. But if you look and learn, you will find that nature as wonderful as it is. Gives so many different ways to look after your skin. The best part of it? No harsh chemicals involved. It is all natural with common ingredients that can be found in your kitchen. So let us check at a few of these items.


Raw honey.
The use of raw honey is so beneficial for your skin. I fights off bacteria and is filled with the goodness of antioxidants and enzymes that will help to lock in natural moisture in your skin.

Gently spread a small amount of the raw honey on your cleansed skin. Leave it for 10 to 20 minutes on your skin and wash off with lukewarm water.
For a face mask you can mix a teaspoon of ground cinnamon combined with 3 tablespoons raw honey. Apply on cleansed face leave it on for up to an hour. No longer. Rinse with lukewarm water. It is great especially for acne troubled skin.

Extra virgin olive oil
If you didnt know it already well it is good and beneficial for you. Inside and outwards. Thinking of olive oil for your face may seem strange but as it is  non-comedogenic your pores wont be affected badly. In fact olive oil has so many benefits that you may wonder why you haven't started using it yet. As it has antioxidants and vitamins A and E. Great to combat the signs of aging yet gentle on your skin. Also a great way to remove makeup.

Using a cotton wool soaked in olive oil. Gently apply over your face and eyes to effectively remove any make up. You may need to apply moisturizer afterwards. Depending on your skin type.

Baking soda.
Baking soda has the ability of whitening your smile. But at the same time it can remove dead skin cells. Can your acne also. 

Take 2 teaspoons of baking soda with 1 teaspoon water. Mix to make a paste. Apply on your face and use circular motions. Make sure your face is covered completely. Leave on your face to dry for 5 minutes. Now gently remove the dried paste using circular motions. Rinse your face with warm water.

But please note as some may have reactions on their skin when using baking soda. Best to test n your hand before applying on your face. Do this only once a week to avoid your skin going to dry. 

Sugar
It may be strange to see sugar listed as beneficial for your skin. But did you know sugar helps when skin is damaged by the sun or even aging skin? 
Mix half cup white or brown sugar with quarter cup olive or coconut oil. Now gently rub a tablespoon full of the sugar mix onto your skin. Great for the face feet and body. Rinse of with warm water. Use two times a week. Natural scrub for your skin

Raw coconut oil.
Have you ever considered switching from your moisturiser to this coconut oil? It is so good for your your skin, as it moisturises deeply, helps to strengthen skin tissue as well as remove dead skin cells
