5 natural home remedies for tooth abscess that works

Today I want to discuss home remedies for tooth abscess. You may think it isnt serious. But is very serious and life threatening if not treated. So why is that? Because its an infection that can get into the bloodstream

Symptoms tooth abscess

  • Tooth aches that is persistent
  • Ear neck and jaw pain on the side where the tooth is aching
  • Sensitive to temperatures, hot or cold
  • Tooth that is discolored
  • Swelling on your face or jaw
  • Pain if you chew
Now comes the home remedies. These are effective and helps. But even I have to say that you should remember if it is severe and you have breathing difficulties. See a dentist as fast as possible. Do not delay.

Garlic
This is one of natures most potent cures against a variety of illnesses and cures many things. Because it fights infection and inflammation.
You can chew raw garlic or apply the juice on the affected area.

Clove oil
It is a super anti fungal product because it can destroy infections as well as treat gum problems. It can even remove infections.
You can gently brush your teeth and then massage the clove oil on your gums. ( not too much) Remember work gently. Or it will create the worst pain possible all over again. You can also chew cloves.

Salt water rinse.
This one I think is known by many. But do note that this method will not give immediate relief. It takes a few times to see the difference as well as pain relief. Salt is effective because it stops the infection from spreading as well as give pain relief and fight infection and inflammation.
Take a teaspoon of salt (plain salt or epsom salt) with a glass of warm water. Now rinse your mouth as you would with mouthwash. Do as many times as needed.

 Apple cider vinegar
Raw organic apple cider vinegar helps to disinfects and helps to reduce swelling
Rinse your mouth with a tablespoon apple cider vinegar. Do this 2 or 3 times every day or as needed. Or you can drink a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar with a glass of water. Two times a day.
Apple cider vinegar disinfects and reduces swelling.

Baking soda
Baking soda works because its naturally drains the abscess.
Start by mixing half teaspoon salt and baking soda.
Now take a cloth that is damp and place it on the mixture you made. Place it between your cheek and the area that has the abscess. Leave it there from 3 up to 5 hours. Or you can rinse your mouth with baking soda. It is 1 teaspoon of baking soda to a glass of water.

Please note
If you have a tooth abcess it isnt just something that goes away. As the bacterial infection can spread through your body. Affecting your heart and brain as well. So for best results consult your dentist. Always remember good oral health. Eat healthy and avoid sugary drinks.

From personal experience I can say that one of my relatives suffered from tooth abscess and almost died. So please do not waste time by thinking it isnt important. It is an infection that can infect your body and not just a tooth or your mouth.
